Rotating Items in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, the third installment in the popular "Roller Coaster Tycoon" gaming franchise, offers detailed graphics, 3 D rides and more coasters, rides, shops and other options than the previous games. This theme park simulation game operates on the same premise as the other games: create your own theme park, attract guests and try to turn a profit. Rotating objects and maps in "Roller Coaster Tycoon 3" is a simple task, but unfortunately, it isn't very intuitive. Rotating in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is a necessary operational task when playing the game; players need to know how to do this in order to see all areas of the park, as well as properly design the park.
To rotate the aerial map in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.
First, load the game by double clicking on the Roller Coaster Tycoon icon. When the game loads, select "Load Game" or click "Select New Game" to start a fresh game. Once your game loads, simultaneously hold down your left and right mouse buttons. You will see the map start to move on your screen clockwise. When the map reaches the point at which you'd like the map, release both of the mouse buttons. Repeat this procedure when you want to rotate the map again.
To rotate buildings and rides in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.
Using the mouse, click on the object you wish to rotate. You may rotate park buildings, such as shops, rides or roller coaster parts. After clicking on the item, you'll see a red arrow icon hovering above the building or ride. Click until the item reaches the desired position. When finished, press the green check mark to save the ride or shop to its new position.
What if you don't have a mouse?
Simply press the "Q" button on your keyboard to rotate left. To rotate right, press the "E" button. Release the button when the object reaches the desired position.
